There is often a big inauthenticity between how we see our true selves
and the image we project to others. This usually comes from a belief
that we are trying to constantly fix or survive something in our lives,
and this condition has us compromise our true desires and
self-expression. Consequently, we find ways to disconnect from our
instincts, emotions, and passions in life, so we can be 'reasonable'
and 'likeable'. Our hearts, spontaneity, and creativity freeze a little at
a time, so we are not aware of it happening. We then become unable
to think outside of our conditioning or 'box'.
Whether alone or in a relationship at present, and whether or not
you celebrate Valentine's Day, now is a perfect time to reflect on the
following points, see where our fears are connected to irrational thought
processes, and see if a deepened sense of awareness can create a
shift in becoming total, real, and authentically expressed with others.
But, remember, love, intimacy and generosity with others stem from
a healthy acceptance and intimacy with oneself -- above all else
Love is based on self-respect, and therefore respect for others can follow
Love and generosity is based on compassion for self and others
If you are aware that no one else can make you happy, and that
happiness is a result of love you share and express with others,
then you can relax into what is in life
The more positive and generous your thoughts and actions are that you
take with yourself and others, the more the Universe responds in turn
with positive and generous rewards
Strive to know what you want, and what your body's needs are--what fits
well with you--become clear and focused, and from this standpoint
choices will be made available to you
We are the masters of our lives, and we are creating our life experience
in each and every moment, so choose from possibility, not from
limitations of the past--you'll be amazed at the results
You need to be clear on where you are now in order to choose where you are headed
